Mitoma’s Advice “Three important things to challenge the European stage”

Kaoru Mitoma has left advice for juniors who want to advance to Europe.

Recently, Mitoma won the Player of the Year award at the JPFA Awards hosted by the Japan Players Association. The award was meaningful because it was voted on by players registered with the JPFA.

In addition to participating in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Mitoma is currently playing for Brighton in the Premier League, scoring 4 goals and 2 assists in 17 matches. After leaving Kawasaki Frontale in the J-League in the summer of 2021 and moving to Brighton, Mitoma returned to the Premier League after spending one season on loan in the Belgian League. 스포츠토토

The Japanese version of Goal.com shared Mitoma’s acceptance speech. “I am very honored to receive this award,” he said. I couldn’t be more happy because this award was received as a result of the votes of the players I played with. I will do my best in the future so that I will not be ashamed of this award.”

He then left advice for juniors who are thinking of advancing to Europe. He said he needed three points. Mitoma said, “First, you must have a weapon that only you have. And you need the power to analyze yourself. He said, “I need image training for my current play style, characteristics, the image I want to become in the future, and my ideal.”

Mitoma said, “In order to grow into a great player in the future, you have to grow by achieving small things every day. Personally, I want to score a lot of goals and assists.”
