KLPGA Tour 2023 season total prize money of 31.1 billion won… Exceeded 30 billion won for the first time ever
The 2023 season of the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) tour will be the largest ever with a total prize money of 31.1 billion won.
The KLPGA Tour announced the schedule and prize money for the 2023 season, which was confirmed through a board meeting held at the Association’s conference room in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 31st.
The 2023 season will be held with a total of 32 competitions and a total prize money of about 31.1 billion won, with an average prize money of 970 million won.
Last season, two competitions increased from 30 tournaments, and the total prize money also increased from 28.3 billion won to 2.8 billion won, exceeding the total prize money of the regular tour season for the first time in KLPGA tour history. 스포츠토토
In the second week of August and the third week of October, new competitions with total prize money of 1.2 billion won will be held.
The tournament with the largest prize money is the Hanwha Classic in August, which increased the prize money from 1.4 billion won in 2022 to 1.667 billion won in 2023.
The total prize money of over 1 billion won was 14 out of 32, accounting for 43% of the total. There are 9 tournaments with total prize money of 1.2 billion won or more.
The KLPGA Tour 2023 season opened with the Hana Financial Group Singapore Women’s Open held in Singapore last December, and the first tournament this year is the Lotte Rental Women’s Open, which kicks off in Jeju Island on April 6.
The final game of the season is the SK Shielders/SK Telecom Championship in November.
