KLPGA Dream Tour “2023 Season Start”

The Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Dream (Part 2) tour opens.

For two days from the 27th, the 2023 SBS Golf Lotte Open Dream Tour (total prize money of 70 million won) will be held at the Lotte Skyhill Country Club (par 72, 6076 yards) in Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do. The top 16 pros and 3 amateurs will receive the right to participate in the regular tour Lotte Open, which will be held in June.

I-Tour member Chen Yuju (Taiwan), who took second place in the International Qualifying Tournament last October, and Katie Yu (USA), who finished fifth, are also taking their first steps on the Dream Tour. Park Ye-ji, Yoo Hyeon-jo, Seo Kyo-rim, and Lee Jung-hyeon, the ‘National Team 4 Musketeers’, will participate. Other strong amateurs such as Lee Hyo-song, Yang Hyo-jin, Lim Sa-rang, Park Seo-jin, Hong Soo-min, and Yoo Hyun will also pitch.

Starting with this competition, the Dream Tour will embark on a fierce 8-month long journey for the regular tour seeding rights for the 2024 season. This year, 20 competitions will be held with a total prize pool of 1.84 billion won.
