Gimcheon Managing Director Lee Young-jae, Moon Kyung-geon, and Lim Seung-gyeom will lead the team as captain for the 2023 season.

On the 16th, Managing Director Kim Cheon announced the captains who will lead the 2023 season. Lee Young-jae was appointed as the captain, and Moon Gyeong-geon and Lim Seung-gyeom were appointed as vice-captains.

Lee Young-jae wears the captain’s armband for the second season following last year. Due to the injury of Moon Ji-hwan in the middle of last season, he took over the captaincy role. After the seniors were discharged, Lee Young-jae was promoted to the rank of corporal and became the oldest. He is expected to be discharged at the end of June this year. 스포츠토토

Lee Young-jae said, “As captain, I will take responsibility and do my best so that all players can become one and promote. As the goal is to win the K-League 2 and promote directly, I will lead the players well as captain.”

Vice-captain Moon Kyung-gun and Lim Seung-gyeom joined the team in June of last year as motivation for enlistment. In the middle of the season, along with Lee Young-jae’s discharge, the replacement of the captain is scheduled, so Moon Kyung-gun and Lim Seung-gyeom will assist captain Lee Young-jae to lead the team’s unity. 

Moon Gyeong-gun said, “As vice-captain, I will help Corporal Lee Young-jae from the side. I will focus on building organizational skills as 18 new recruits join. I will do my best to unite as one team during winter training.”

Lim Seung-gyeom said, “I am honored and grateful to be appointed as vice-captain.

Meanwhile, Sangmu Kim Cheon left for winter training in Changwon on the 15th and began hardening to prepare for the 2023 season.
