Chairman Fahd bin Sad bin Nafel was thrilled when Al-Hilal reached the final of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Saudi Arabia’s prestigious team Al Hilal advanced to the final by beating Flamengo (Brazil) 3-2 in the semifinals of the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup held at Tangier Stadium in Morocco at 4:00 am (Korean time) on the 8th. Al-Hilal participated in this competition as the winning team of the 2021 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League (ACL). This is the first time the AFC Champions League winners have reached the Club World Cup final.

Al-Hilal is playing for Korean defender Jang Hyun-soo. Jang Hyeon-soo started as a central defender for Al-Hilal in the semi-finals and led the team to the final. The final will be held at Moulay Abdela Stadium in Morocco at 4 am on the 12th.
